A Vacation from Ordinary Film.
Uriel has it all going his way. Divorced and co-parenting his two lovable pre-tween kids, Urel is a professional poker player. He has won more than his share of bets and now, with the divorce and the kids, he'ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs betting that a vasectomy is a safe wager. He is developing an on-line gambling site, the ladies are easy to come by...times are good. But when a former love of his life resurfaces in Buenos Aires things begin to get tricky...leading him to wonder if he knows when to hold'em and when to fold'em. Daniel Burman, whose previous films EVERY STEWARDRESS GOES TO HEAVEN, FAMILY LAW and EMPTY NEST played at previous FLIFF's, knows his way around romantic comedies. Burman combines the ingredients of realistic, human characters intertwined in humorous situations to create memorable films that remain your thoughts long after the lights have come up.
