Shane Eason
Shane Eason is an award-winning filmmaker, curator, and educator whose formal experimental and documentary films explore themes of abstraction, memory, and identity. With a career spanning over 20 years, his work has been exhibited and distributed internationally, earning several recognitions and awards. In addition to his filmmaking, he directs and curates the 1:1 Super 8 Cinema Soirée and the Flamingo Film Festival. Shane Eason currently serves as the Interim Director, Associate Professor of Experimental and Documentary Film, and Multimedia Production Coordinator for the School of Communication and Multimedia Studies at Florida Atlantic University.

JR Vazquez
JR Vazquez grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he wrote and directed his first science documentary short for his boarding school project. His background in aerospace engineering, project management consultant, university professor, and visits to 44 countries, have exposed him to global storytelling, film production, and character development. With his first family-drama novel on the way, and multiple credits in short films, he recently produced his first 48-hour project short film, winning a category award. JR has worked in South Florida film festivals for the last 20 years, managed the Cinema Paradiso theaters, and served as programming director for the Miami Short Film Festival. As an avid marathon runner, he appreciates the art, effort, and discipline that goes into writing, casting, filming, and editing stories that engage and move audiences worldwide.

Pezhman Jatala
Pezhman Jatala is the Program Manager and Associate Professor of Film Production Technology at Broward College. After his youth making short films in Lima, Peru, he pursued his passion – first at the University of Oklahoma (BA), and then his MFA in Motion Picture Production at Florida State University. After some time working in the industry in Los Angeles, he came back to stay in South Florida, working in television before deciding to make teaching filmmaking a full-time job. In the meantime, he has served as the Cinematographer on two feature films, Ti Laurent and Scooter, created numerous short films, both in fiction and documentary, and is now exploring the world of drone cinematography.

expertise with a passion for storytelling and the video production process. As the founder of Lime Digital, Mike leads a team of creatives who specialize in crafting content – producing over 6,000 video courses in 6 languages in use by students around the globe. Whether it’s producing content, interactive learning modules, or managing large-scale media projects, Mike’s focus is always on strategy, collaboration, and quality. His diverse skill set spans pre-production, writing, directing, and instructional design.
