THE WILD CHILD

USA / 2024 / 90 min / English / Comedy

A young man with aspirations of becoming a Hollywood Writer gets thrown into the business in a way he doesn’t expect.

A fun, unique film showing great creativity.  Was it autobiographical?  Maybe.

DIRECTOR: Nelson Hill grew up in South West Florida playing football, basketball, and baseball. When Nelson was 7 years old, he found his first love… movies! At 15 years old he acted in his first play, Shrek Jr. The Musical, at the Florida Rep Theatre. Throughout his high school career, he also acted in several other plays including Oliver Twist and Romeo & Juliet. After graduating high school Nelson attended Liberty University, where he was studying film. But during his freshman year Nelson decided to drop out and move to Hollywood, never looking back. Since being in Los Angeles, Nelson has not only directed short films, but has also done Behind The Scene videos for multiple movies and TV shows. Nelson enjoys working out, playing guitar and watching movies. He dedicates his acting to his mom, dad and younger brother Luke, who support him and his dream.

DIRECTOR STATEMENT: It’s hard to make a bad movie… it’s even harder to make a good one.
