Pedro is a computer genius and successful millionaire in the world of systems. One day his cousin proposes a bet” “give someone a life lesson without having to use their money.” Pedro accepts the challenge and decides to do something different. To fulfill the bet, Pedro decides to post as a gardener and befriend them. For months, works hard and earns the trust of his colleagues. Pedro decides its time to test the true intent of his co-workers. To do this, he pretends to have found a winning lottery ticket and tells everyone that he will be a millionaire. He carefully observes the reaction and discovers that some of them only approach him out of interest and not genuine friendship. Although Pedro feels disappointed by some of his co-workers, he also discovers that there are people who really appreciates who he is, regardless of his wealth.

A little girl, a wife, and an old lady live in an apartment building, each of them on top of the other. Mariana just wants to play, but her mother forces her to study. Cristina makes her bags and tries to escape from her abusive husband. On the last floor, Carmen wants to listen the radio, but her abusive daughter can’t stand it. We all become accomplices and witnesses of the indifference against female violence.Una niña, una esposa y una anciana, viven en un edificio de apartamentos, cada una encima de la otra. Mariana solo quiere jugar, pero su madre la obliga a estudiar. Cristina empaca e intenta escapar de su esposo agresor. En el último piso, Carmen quiere escuchar la radio, pero su hija abusiva no lo soporta. Todos nos volvemos cómplices y testigos de la indiferencia ante la violencia femenina.

Is a 9-minute short directed by Julian Castiblanco, in collaboration with the Wayuuando Collective of the northern Colombian region of La Guajira,

Julian Castiblanco is a community communicator, photographer, and audiovisual producer with a focus on gender, ethnicity, and climate change. With 8 years of experience supporting community and territorial processes in multiple communities and the border region of La Guajira (Colombian-Venezuelan border). Activist for the defense of territory and human rights of indigenous peoples, popular educator. Director of the Wayuuando Corporation and co-founder of the Women of the Desert Collective, Impact Producer (DOCCO Latin America Scholarship), former member of the International Environmentalist Federation (FAI) of the Colombian-Venezuelan Guajira. Curator and founder of the itinerant exhibition: Jutkatshi Wayaa, multimedia content from the community territories. In her work, she has denounced structural racism and has worked on environmental conservation projects from both scientific and social perspectives, using audiovisual tools as a form of resistance and struggle from the territory. Daughter and granddaughter of rural community leaders, she identifies as indigenous, poor, and rural.
