Ain’t No Back to a Merry-Go-Round

AIN’T NO BACK TO A MERRY-GO-ROUND: (89 minutes) tells the forgotten story of Blacks and Jews uniting to protest Echo Park, a segregated amusement park outside of DC in 1960. It is an incredibly important, timely, and excellent documentary that has been selling out festivals across the US. Filmmaker Ilana Trachtman who went to Echo Park as a child tracked down the protesters and some truly remarkable footage to tell this lost story of American history that our current leaders are trying to erase.
