12-year-old Bailey lives with her single dad Bug (Barry Keoghan, SALTBURN) and brother Hunter in a squat in North Kent. Bug is a good man but doesn’t have much time for his kids, and Bailey seeks attention and adventure elsewhere. When she meets a kind drifter (Franz Rogowski, PASSAGES), something seems off, and incredible things begin to happen as the film shifts gears to magical realism in a manner that only a filmmaker like Andrea Arnold could pull off.
