Based on a true story. 1982, in the heat of a Sicilian summer, two teenage boys, Gianni and Nino, meet and fall in love. The relationship soon becomes a topic of gossip in the small town and despite their families’ objections the two dream of living together, something the community is determined to stop.
Director: Giuseppe Fiorello was born on 12 March 1969 in Catania, Sicily, Italy. He is an actor and writer, known for Fireworks (2023), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) and Terraferma (2011). He has been married to Eleonora Pratelli since 16 October 2010. They have two children.
